ASSET FINANCE BDM - Remote

A well-established and rapidly growing UK asset finance provider is seeking experienced Business Development Managers to join its expanding sales team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly respected lender that supports SMEs with funding solutions across a wide range of sectors, including vehicles, plant and machinery, agriculture, construction, recycling, access equipment and other commercial assets.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building long-term relationships with introducers, dealers and SME customers across your territory. This is a remote, field-based role offering the autonomy to manage your own diary while growing a profitable portfolio of business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities within your designated territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with dealers, suppliers, introducers, and business owners.
  • Structure funding solutions across a wide variety of asset finance transactions.
  • Generate repeat business through exceptional relationship management.
  • Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • Work closely with internal underwriting and operations teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and consistently achieve monthly sales targets.

About You

We're looking for motivated, commercially driven professionals who enjoy building relationships and working independently. You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience within asset finance, commercial finance, or business lending.
  • A proven track record of generating new business.
  • Experience managing introducer or dealer relationships.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your own territory.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Experience within independent asset finance brokers, specialist lenders, or captive finance businesses would be highly advantageous.
