POSITION OVERVIEW
Cauridor is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager responsible for expanding the company’s international payment and remittance network into Africa. The role focuses on prospecting, negotiating, and securing partnerships with global collection companies and international money transfer operators requiring reliable payment collection and payout services in Africa.

Your Impact Zone
Partnership Development
- Identify, prospect, and onboard global companies requiring local collections in West and Central Africa
- Manage and develop the pipeline of international money transfer operators (MTOs), fintechs, and payment providers requiring payout services into Africa
- Develop relationships with global remittance companies, digital wallets, and cross-border payment providers
- Negotiate commercial agreements and service terms with new partners
Payment Collection Partnerships
- Secure payment collection partnerships with global digital platforms and merchants serving customers in Africa, including companies such as:
- Uber
- Amazon
- International betting and gaming platforms
- Subscription and digital service providers
- Enable local payment acceptance and settlement solutions through Cauridor’s infrastructure
Market Expansion
- Identify new cross-border payment corridors into Africa
- Develop strategies to increase transaction volumes across partner networks
- Monitor regulatory developments affecting remittance and payment processing in the region
Sales Pipeline Management
- Build and maintain a robust business development pipeline of international partners
- Conduct outreach, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Track opportunities from lead generation to contract execution
Strategic Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure transaction growth and service reliability
- Work closely with internal teams including product, compliance, and operations to ensure successful integration

Industry Engagement
- Represent Cauridor at fintech, remittance, and payments industry events
- Develop relationships with ecosystem stakeholders including fintechs, banks, and payment processors
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of merchant payment collection partnerships secured
- Number of new international remittance partners onboarded
- Growth in payout volumes into Africa
- Revenue generated from new payment corridors
- Conversion rate from prospects to signed agreements
Your Toolkit for the Role
- 5+ years experience in business development within payments, fintech, remittance, or banking
- Strong knowledge of cross-border payments and remittance ecosystems
- Experience working with international payment providers or MTOs
- Understanding of payment collection solutions for global merchants
- Proven ability to negotiate commercial agreements
- Strong international network in fintech, remittance, or digital commerce

- Experience working in or with West and Central African payment markets
- Familiarity with mobile money ecosystems

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English with fluency in French an advantage
