About the Role

We are looking for a BDM for a global leader in integrated security and business management solutions, delivering scalable platforms that unify access control, video surveillance, alarm monitoring, and building management into a single ecosystem.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven, commercially minded Business Development Manager to join our growing team with at least 5 years’ experience in the electronic security industry to drive growth across the UK and Ireland.

This role is focused on new business acquisition, while also managing and expanding existing integrator, partner, and end-user relationships. You will play a key role in positioning enterprise-grade, integrated security platforms to both new and existing customers.

The successful candidate will operate across the full UK and Ireland territory, targeting end-users, installers, integrators, consultants, and main contractors within the electronic security sector.

What You Will Do

New Business Development

  • Take full ownership of achieving and exceeding the annual sales quota through proactive pipeline management and deal closure.
  • Develop and execute a structured, results-driven sales plan aligned to regional and organisational growth targets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly sales forecasting, providing clear visibility of pipeline health and revenue outlook.
  • Maintain accountability for overall sales performance, regularly reviewing progress and implementing corrective actions to stay on target.
  • Proactively identify and secure new opportunities for solutions across key verticals (e.g., banking & finance, utilities, retail, data centres, critical infrastructure).
  • Drive demand for integrated platforms (GMS, VIGIL CORE, Unison) across multi-site and enterprise environments.
  • Develop and execute territory and account acquisition plans aligned with regional growth targets.
  • Proactively generate pipeline through prospecting, networking, and industry engagement.
  • Promote PACOM’s value proposition of unified security and operational efficiency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
