Datacolor is actively seeking a driven Business Development Manager EMA - P&P Segment to join our global workforce. The candidate will be responsible for Print & Packaging revenue in the Region.
Position Summary: Develop a strong Print & Packaging revenue in the region (EMA) through: Direct engagement with selected list of customers like Large Printers, Ink Manufacturers, Press Manufacturers and Brands Direct Management of Print & Packaging sales team members in the region Joint work with local sales organization
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Define a list of Print & Packaging target accounts being or large printing companies, or Ink Manufacturers, or Press Manufacturers, or Brands per country in the region. Engage directly with those accounts with support of local Sales Organization Be able to present and articulate Datacolor Value Proposition for Print & Packaging Present Datacolor solutions via seminars, webinars, or in person meetings to create interests and awareness. Be able to demonstrate solutions like SpectroDens or ChromaQA to customers as well as an overall presentation of Colibri Ink Software Develop & manage new market development projects to identify and qualify business opportunities. Engage with local partners in the Region (with support of local organization) to ensure achievement of their target Be able to network with other solution providers to integrate the Datacolor products as part of a total color management solution for the customers, including packaging solutions for brands & supply chain. Engage with Direct Print & Packaging Sales People (if present in the region) Carry Print & Packaging target for the Region Report to management on a monthly basis progress made on Print & Packaging score card Get support for Application team in case of more complex applications like Ink Matching Due to the strong presence in the Market, report to Product Management any specific requests related to solutions enhancement as well as competitive landscape. Use SalesForce.com effectively as a management tool. Keeps records on sales activities, contacts, opportunities and new business generated. Prepare and present business cases to the management with valid proposal & justifications.

Requirements: Bachelor degree in a business related field 5-10 years of relevant, strategic sales experience, key account management Necessary background in technical field or engineering to be able to understand customer processes and issues. Excellent knowledge of Print & Packaging customer processes and related color measurement applications. Analytical skills to help prioritize actions and manage execution Result oriented with strong leadership Ability to develop strategic partnership with customers Excellent interpersonal skills including strong listening & analytical skills for both internal and external engagements Strong verbal & written communication; fluent English (Add language depending on local presence) Excellent in presentations & influencing skills Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office, SalesForce.com, etc.

Location: Location in EMA, preference in this order 1: UK, 2: France, 3: Italy. Frequent traveling in the region is required
