Job Introduction
Working alongside the Regional Director, you will focus on business growth through the retention of existing clients and a continuous drive to add to the existing client base throughout Europe.
We think this is a great opportunity to join our successful business and make a valuable contribution to our future growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- We expect that you will develop lasting client relationships, including regular face to face contact
- Much of your activity will be in the Aberdeen region, however there is no “geographical” limit within the UK & European markets for you to develop and grow our customer portfolio
- Ensuring all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner, you will be responsible for managing your own diary
- As an experienced Business Developer you will identify & present opportunities relating to new markets, geographies and product applications for appraisal by senior management
- Our markets include Refineries, Energy plants (LNG, Hydrogen, etc.) & Renewables.
- Foster an environment of good internal communication between Operations, Workshop, Finance & Marketing departments

What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years’ experience in an external business development role
- Proven track record in new business development
- Ability to plan & prepare presentations and also submit monthly activity reports
- Flexibility to travel throughout UK & Europe as required
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills
- Ability to formulate & implement pursuit plans aimed at new clients, markets, applications & geographies
- Excellent attention to detail
