Business Development Manager / Executive – Teal Products
About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven and ambitious Business Development Manager / Executive to lead the growth of Teal Products through new business acquisition, account development, and strategic sales initiatives.
This role is suited to either an experienced Business Development Manager or a developing Business Development Executive, depending on experience level. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market presence, increasing product sales, and building long-term customer relationships across target sectors.
The role combines proactive sales activity, relationship management, market development, and collaboration with internal teams to drive sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities for Teal Products
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers and sales opportunities
- Drive product sales growth through outbound business development activity, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships
- Develop strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders
- Understand customer needs and position Teal Products effectively to deliver value
- Deliver product presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to support campaigns, launches, and market penetration strategies
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and CRM records
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings where required
- Contribute to sales strategy development and achievement of company revenue targets

Skills & Experience
Business Development Executive Level
- 1–3 years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to generating opportunities
- Confidence in customer-facing environments
- Motivated, organised, and target-driven
- Experience using CRM systems would be desirable

Business Development Manager Level
- 4+ years’ experience in business development or product sales
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing strategic accounts and developing growth plans
- Strong negotiation and commercial management skills
- Ability to work independently and drive new market opportunities
- Experience within the Smoke Ventilation industry would be advantageous
