Business Development Manager – MFP Print Hardware Sales (London)
Are you a successful Business Development Manager looking to develop your career within the IT/print hardware sector?
We are seeking high-performing professionals with solid experience and a proven ability to win and develop new business, particularly in the MFP (Multi-Function Printer)/print industry, or at a minimum, in IT hardware or peripherals sales.
Within our industry, success continues to be driven by high-volume calls, meetings, and proactive lead generation. As such, we expect candidates to demonstrate a hunger for picking up the phone and hunting down new business, regardless of their experience level.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach
- Execute high-volume cold calling (250+ calls per week)
- Develop and manage targeted lead initiatives to generate new business opportunities

Customer & Sales Cycles
- Identify and secure new B2B customers through discovery and relationship-building meetings
- Present products and services effectively, articulating value propositions clearly
- Convert opportunities to sales and manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to client retention
- Ensure ongoing satisfaction by addressing post-sale needs

Client Relationship Management
- Build and develop long-term client relationships, identifying and capitalising on further opportunities
- Serve as the primary liaison between key customers and internal teams for seamless collaboration
- Liaise with operations, technical and executive stakeholders to ensure high standards of service

Strategic Sales & Reporting
- Forecast and report on the regional sales pipeline to the Head of Direct Sales
- Maintain and expand an existing client base with targeted follow-ups
- Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
- Deliver key sales initiatives and promotional campaigns
Essential Requirements

- Proven experience in MFP, print, IT hardware or peripherals sales (required)
- Strong B2B sales background with hands-on experience in complex sales cycles
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with high resilience in competitive environments
- A track record of generating new business and hitting sales targets
- Ability to deliver tailored solutions that align with client-specific needs
Work Environment
- Based in our Monument office (London), with regular on-site visits to customer locations
- Hybrid working flexibility (due to substantial travel/in-field requirements)
- Structured training and development plan to support your growth
Commercial Terms
- Salary: Up to £45k basic (depending on experience)
- Commission-based earning potential with a targeted year 1 OTE (on-target earning) of £70k
- £5,100 travel allowance
- Plus additional company benefits
