Business Development Manager - Industrial Lubricants | East Midlands, South Yorkshire & South East
A leading British manufacturer of industrial lubricants (75+ years established) is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the East Midlands and South East England.
This is a field-based, consultative sales role, focused on generating demand within manufacturing and heavy industry, particularly in environments where equipment operates under extreme conditions. Key sectors include glass, petrochemical, and marine.

You will:
- Conduct site surveys to analyse lubrication challenges
- Deliver tailored solutions that improve reliability and performance
- Work closely with an established distribution network, including major MRO partners
- Build direct relationships with end-user manufacturing sites
- Expand into international sales, with around one week of overseas travel per quarter as the role evolves

Compensation & Benefits
- Basic salary: £45k–£55k
- Uncapped commission (~£7k in year 1)
- £500/month car allowance + mileage reimbursement

Ideal Candidate
Seek a candidate with:
- 3+ years of field-based sales experience
- A background selling into manufacturing environments
- Interest in moving into international sales in the future
- Valid UK driving licence
