Business Development Manager – Residential Development
Location: Remote (North of England, with travel required)
Salary: up to £90,000 + Bonus

About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the residential development sector. This role focuses on securing new business opportunities, building relationships, and developing opportunities across residential and mixed-use developments. You'll work with developers, house-builders, landowners, consultants, and contractors, engaging with projects from the early planning stages through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate and convert new business opportunities across the residential development market.
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, landowners, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Engage with projects at an early stage to understand client needs and uncover opportunities.
- Identify, qualify, and progress opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Deliver against growth and revenue targets.

Requirements
- Proven business development, sales, or commercial experience.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially minded and results-driven.
- Comfortable operating within complex project environments.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
We're open to candidates from construction, infrastructure, utilities, facilities management, residential development, property, or land backgrounds. Most important is the ability to build relationships, navigate stakeholder environments, and identify commercial opportunities.
