🌐 Revenue-focused Sales Executive (CFD & Forex Providers)

Department: Revenue Location: London

About the Role

This is an unprecedented opportunity to thrive as a core member of a high-growth fintech payments sales team—the fastest-expanding division of a Global Payments company. The role focuses on acquiring Financial Intermediary (FI) clients, with a strategic emphasis on CFD & Forex Providers. Ideal for payment sales specialists with expertise in Global Payments, Cash Management, FX, and Treasury Management. Success depends on broad business acumen, strong FI/NBFI connections, and a consultative sales approach.

Core Responsibilities

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential FI/NBFI clients, especially within CFD, whilst dissecting the competitive landscape.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends impacting FX payments and target market dynamics.

Strategic Sales Development

  • Develop strategic plans to effectively target the CFD market, understanding client needs and articulating how our solutions create value.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with broader corporate goals.

Client Acquisition & Pipeline Management

  • Proactively generate leads via networking, cold outreach, and digital channels.
  • Achieve weekly/monthly/annual sales quotas through effective pipeline management and proactive prospecting.

Sales Execution & Client Engagement

  • Design and deliver persuasive presentations and demonstrations highlighting our IFX payments advantages to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms to ensure mutual value, resolving objections with tailored solutions.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new clients, bridging the transition to our platform.

CRM & Analytical Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all sales interactions and activities.
  • Provide durable impact analysis to support revenue and business forecasting.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, support) to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Guide junior sales staff, sharing best practices and fostering skill development.

  • Keep current with regulatory changes through continuous training to ensure full compliance at all stages of the sales cycle.

  • Revenue Growth: Consistently meet monthly and annual FX revenue targets.
  • Client Acquisition:
    • Conversion rates on new meetings & appointments.
    • Number of corporate FI clients onboarded within set timelines.
  • Pipeline Health:
    • Quality and value of opportunities progressed in the sales funnel.
  • Client Retention: High satisfaction scores and minimal churn rates.

Key Requirements & Skills

Essential Criteria

  • Proven track record in CFD sales, preferably within the payments or FX industry.
  • Result-driven sales experience: History of exceeding business development targets and cultivating new commercial relationships.
  • Consultative selling skills: Ability to identify client pain points and craft tailored solutions using our offerings.
  • Negotiation acumen: Mitigate risks while delivering commercially advantageous agreements for both parties.
  • Sales cycle mastery: Experience managing complex sales processes, from prospecting to deal-close.

Technical & Analytical Proficiencies

  • Skilled in commercial modelling and financial analytics to justify a product’s value.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales tools, and data-driven reporting.
