About the Role
Excited by the challenge of building something new and making it thrive? Have the drive to identify opportunities, open doors, and grow relationships that last? Are you a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual ready to lead the charge in growing our presence in the wholesale channel?
Powerforce, a leading FMCG industry agency, is offering you the chance to step into a Business Development Manager role representing Nestlé, a world-renowned FMCG brand. This isn’t just about maintaining a territory—you’ll take total ownership of the wholesale channel and join a top-performing team from day one.

As the full-time Business Development Manager for the key areas of Woking, Camberley, Southampton, and surrounding regions, you’ll be the face of Nestlé in the wholesale environment. Your mission is clear:
-
Enhance Brand Visibility: Ensure Nestlé brands are front, centre, and impossible to miss when a customer walks into a depot.
-
Build Strategic Partnerships: Become a trusted advisor to depot managers and stakeholders. Go beyond being a vendor—position yourself as their go-to expert for category growth and promotional planning.
-
Drive Data-Informed Growth: Utilise sophisticated market insights and sales data to identify untapped opportunities. Pitch, negotiate, and close high-quality agreements that guarantee product availability and strained placement in depots.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
