Job Title: Business Development Manager - Circet Energy (UK)

Location: Primarily office-based (with regular travel to sites and client meetings across the UK)

Reporting to: Managing Director

About Circet

Circet is an international infrastructure services provider, delivering large-scale network build and maintenance across telecoms and energy sectors throughout Europe.

In the UK, Circet is rapidly scaling its Energy business-building capability across electricity networks and related infrastructure to support increasing demand from network operators and the wider energy transition.

Backed by strong investment and an established delivery platform, the business is focused on growing its presence across the UK through a combination of delivery excellence, client partnerships, and targeted expansion.

Job Purpose

The role will lead front-end growth across Circet Energy's UK business, focusing on three core areas: network frameworks, EV infrastructure, and large-scale renewable projects. The objective is to position Circet as a trusted delivery partner early in the project lifecycle, shaping opportunities before they reach the market.

Circet has an established foothold with distribution network operator clients including NPG, ESB, and NIE. The next phase is targeted expansion—securing work with additional mainland UK operators and establishing a position on transmission frameworks ahead of future regulatory cycles.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
