Business Development Manager / Sales Manager – Commercial Kitchen Ventilation
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire (Office Based with UK Travel)
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Company Car/Allowance (depending on experience)

Corsair Engineering Ltd is a respected British manufacturer and installer of commercial kitchen ventilation systems, delivering high-quality solutions across the hospitality, education, healthcare, custodial and commercial sectors throughout the UK.
Our Vortex division continues to grow, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially driven Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to help develop new business, strengthen relationships with existing clients and promote our technical expertise across the industry.
This is far more than a traditional sales role. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, presenting technical solutions, educating customers and helping shape the future direction of our marketing and business development activities.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing sales opportunities throughout the UK by working closely with:
- Mechanical Building Services Consulting Engineers
- Catering Design Consultants
- M&E Contractors
- Local Authorities
- Catering Equipment distributors
- Restaurant Chains
- End Users

The role combines business development, technical sales, marketing and customer education, requiring regular travel throughout the UK together with time at our Banbury head office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Promote Corsair's commercial kitchen ventilation solutions across multiple market sectors.
- Deliver professional technical presentations and CPD seminars to consulting engineers, contractors and catering specialists, both in person and online.
- Update and maintain our accredited seminar programme to ensure compliance with current industry legislation and standards.
- Visit customer offices and project sites to discuss applications, provide technical guidance and gather site information for our design team.
- Work closely with the design and manufacturing teams to develop winning technical proposals.
- Support website updates and maintain an active presence across social media platforms.
- Maintain and grow the company CRM database, ensuring regular contact with customers and prospects.
- Attend industry exhibitions, conferences and trade association events representing the company.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, is technically minded and takes pride in building long-term customer relationships.

Ideally you will have:
- Experience in technical sales or business development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Confidence presenting to professional audiences.
- The ability to build relationships with engineers, consultants and contractors.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- A willingness to travel throughout the UK.
- A full UK driving licence.
Experience within commercial kitchen ventilation, HVAC, mechanical building services, catering equipment or construction would be advantageous, although candidates from related technical industries will also be considered.
