I'm currently recruiting for a Product Specialist / Business Development Manager (maternity cover) within the injectable market.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys building relationships, growing territories, and partnering with premium aesthetic clinics.
- Location: Northeast England
- Salary: £50,000-£60,000 DOE + Commission
- Benefits: £550 monthly car allowance, mileage, private medical & pension
- Type: Maternity Contract, Field Based
Perfect for someone with aesthetics, medical sales, skincare, haircare, pharmacy, or healthcare sales experience who enjoys being out in the field, building strong customer relationships, and growing a successful territory.
About the Company
I’m representing a globally recognised aesthetics business specialising in premium injectable and skincare products within the medical aesthetics sector. Established internationally with a strong reputation for innovation, education, and clinical excellence, the business partners with aesthetic clinics and healthcare professionals across the UK and Ireland, supporting them with advanced hyaluronic acid-based treatments, training, and ongoing commercial support. The company has built a strong reputation not only for its products but also for the quality of its people. Due to continued growth and the importance of this territory, they are now looking to appoint a commercially driven Product Specialist / Business Development Manager to manage and grow the areas.

About the Role
This is a field-based role focused on developing existing clinic relationships while also driving new business growth across a large and commercially important territory. It includes a mixture of established key accounts and significant untapped opportunity. This is not a sit-at-home account management role. It suits someone who genuinely enjoys being out in the field, building relationships, and growing business face to face.
You’ll be responsible for introducing clinics to premium injectable and skincare solutions, supporting customers through education and training opportunities, and strategically growing territory revenue through both account development and competitor switching activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan aligned with company objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with aesthetic clinics, practitioners, and healthcare professionals
- Drive new business activity across the territory, including competitor switching opportunities
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular face-to-face contact
- Conduct product presentations, commercial meetings, and educational support sessions
- Support clinics with training opportunities aligned to the company’s medical education programmes
- Segment and manage accounts strategically across the territory
- Maintain accurate CRM records and territory reporting
- Collaborate closely with marketing, medical education, and leadership teams
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and commercial opportunities within the region
- Deliver exceptional customer support throughout the full sales journey

What They’re Looking For
- Proven field sales experience is essential
- Background within aesthetics, beauty, skincare, medical devices, haircare, or pharma sales preferred
- Relationship-led and commercially aware
- Comfortable managing a broad territory and high volume of accounts
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and confident working independently
- Comfortable opening new business and converting competitor accounts
- Someone clinics genuinely enjoy working with and want to see again
- Passionate about aesthetics and appearance-led industries
