Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager (Building & Property Maintenance Services)

Location: Oldham – Office Based Salary: up to £35,000 & Uncapped Bonus Scheme Contract: Full-Time / Permanent Sector: Building & Property Maintenance Services


Role Overview

EaseFix is a rapidly expanding facilities maintenance provider, supporting retail, hospitality, forecourt, property and public sector clients across the UK. Backed by a nationwide network of over 8,500 vetted trades professionals, we deliver reactive and planned maintenance solutions at scale.

This role is essential as we seek a commercially driven and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to expand our client portfolio, strengthen existing relationships, and support long-term business growth.

Primarily office-based in Oldham, this role will involve regular attendance at trade shows, exhibitions, networking events, and client meetings across the UK. Monthly travel is required, offering exposure to major brands and industry contacts.

This position features an uncapped bonus structure, rewarding relationship building, account growth, and commercial performance. Bonuses are tiered based on works generated through client portfolios, with additional incentives for revitalising inactive or low-engagement accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across retail, hospitality, property, forecourt, and commercial sectors
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through meetings, networking, and ongoing account engagement
  • Represent EaseFix at trade shows, exhibitions, networking events, and industry meetings
  • Manage the full sales process, from lead generation to onboarding and account handover
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing account success
  • Act as Client Success Manager for assigned accounts, enhancing relationships and fostering long-term growth
  • Conduct regular client review meetings with Operational Account Managers to discuss performance, opportunities, and service improvements
  • Develop tailored proposals and presentations based on client requirements
  • Generate and manage sales pipelines while maintaining regular follow-ups with prospective clients
  • Support reactivation of inactive or low-activity accounts
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity updates, and pipeline reporting
  • Identify client pain points and propose suitable maintenance or process solutions
  • Work closely with senior leadership on sales strategy, growth opportunities, and target sectors
  • Professionally represent EaseFix in client meetings, presentations, and events nationwide

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales or business development
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence in speaking with decision-makers and senior stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive and driven approach to business development
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple opportunities and priorities
  • Highly organised, capable of prioritising responsibilities
  • Availability for monthly UK travel (trade shows, networking, client meetings)
