Position: Business Development Manager
Job Description:
As Arrow Intelligent Solutions (AIS), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are enabling our customers’ business growth by simplifying their technology experience. We support the full product lifecycle — from design, development, prototyping through to manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, and managed services. AIS experts work with our customers to architect and deliver solutions while providing customized configuration support to ensure a successful implementation.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
The Intelligent Solutions Team is expanding! We're looking for a Business Development Manager based in UK to drive strategic growth, build strong client relationships, and identify new market opportunities.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and winning new business opportunities from ISVs and OEMs. Your role will involve continuous relationship development between the business area, regional teams, and the vendors to ensure trust and support of business objectives. You will report to the Head of Business Development and be a part of a fun, diverse team.

What will you be doing at Arrow AIS?
- You will be responsible for developing, managing, and creating the relationship between AIS and potential customers.
- Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services.
- Develop a funnel using SFDC as a CRM tool.
- Ensure the execution of sales growth plans.
- Drives results through demand identification and demand creation opportunities.
- Plan and oversee new business initiatives.
- Research organizations and key stakeholders to find new opportunities.
- Find and develop new markets and improve sales by leveraging Arrow’s portfolio of integration services.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in a similar position in sales and/or business development within a relevant sector.
- Previous experience working for a Technology vendor or OEM Partner is preferred.
- Ability to build and develop strategic business relationships.
- You have interacted with C-level or key stakeholders from SMB and Enterprise accounts.
- Strong knowledge of the market, and a good understanding of the added value that an OEM partner provides to the channel.
- Effective communication with people at all levels.
- Strong collaboration skills within virtual teams and external partners.
