About The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and growing our customer base. Reporting to the Product Manager, you’ll manage the full business cycle—from initial sale through to cash collection—while identifying and converting new business opportunities within your assigned segments, territory, or markets. You’ll work closely with our internal teams to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction and contribute to the achievement of our company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and gross margin targets
- Implement pricing strategies in line with company policy
- Promote our strengths in targeted growth markets
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key accounts
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities and projects
- Support the Product Manager in developing sales strategies
- Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure maximum satisfaction
- Provide market feedback to inform sales and marketing strategies
- Deliver key growth projects and undertake other duties as required
Candidate Profile
- Degree level qualification or equivalent
- Professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering or industry relevant experience
- Relevant experience within a system and target driven organization
- Strong knowledge of silicone rubber materials and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Working with Company procedures & workflows
- CRM systems knowledge
- Excellent customer focus and understanding of customers needs
- Business Acumen
- Proven experience of sales delivery and growth
- Technical aptitude and/or engineering experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proactive and works with the right sense of urgency: Response times, flexibility, and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Innovative, self-starter who seeks solutions
- Customer driven with a positive, professional, can-do attitude
