Business Development Manager – Remote
Location: Remote Salary: £40,000–£45,000 OTE: £60,000–£70,000

We’re partnering with a leading PropTech business that empowers Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and social housing providers to modernise the way they manage inspections, compliance, operations, and resident services.
With a proven platform already trusted across the sector—and growing demand driven by increasing compliance requirements and operational pressures—they are now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth within the Public Sector Housing market.

Sales & Pipeline Development
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and public sector housing providers
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting & discovery through negotiation & close
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities

Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with Housing Directors, Asset Management teams, Compliance Managers, and Operations leaders
- Conduct value-led, consultative sales conversations that address key sector challenges

Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner with marketing, product, and leadership teams to support growth initiatives
- Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and sector insights to shape future strategy
- Develop relationships with procurement frameworks and public sector buying channels

Brand Representation
- Attend housing sector events, exhibitions, and conferences across the UK
- Represent the business as a trusted and knowledgeable industry partner
Requirements
We’re looking for a commercially driven, relationship-focused professional with:
- Proven success in a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or Account Executive role
- Experience selling into:
- Housing Associations
- Local Authorities
- Public sector housing providers
- Strong background in:
- SaaS
- PropTech
- Compliance technology
- Housing management systems
- Related software solutions
- Deep understanding of:
- The UK social housing landscape
- Procurement processes
- Skills in:
- Influencing senior stakeholders
- Relationship-building
- Communication & negotiation
- Autonomy & initiative:
- Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own pipeline
- Flexibility & travel readiness:
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and exhibitions
