Business Development Manager - International Parcel Delivery- £49,000 basic plus circa 25k OTE Location: Postcodes covered - GU, TW, CL Salary: £49,000 basic + 25k commission (uncapped) + Company Car · 20% Account Management / 80% New business sales · Market leading global company - 600,000 employees in 220 countries · Uncapped commission structure - realistic OTE from year 1 · Ongoing coaching & Structured progression Role Purpose: A Business Development Manager will be required to both generate pipeline and build relationships with new customers as well as manage and develop assigned existing major customers within the territory, in order to maintain and grow the market leadership position. On first undertaking the role your role will be more heavily new business focussed, so great prioritisation and organisational skills will be required to ensure you are leaving enough time to build a strong new business pipeline, as well as retain strong working partnerships with existing customers by conducting meetings every 2 months to ensure complete customer satisfaction and take the opportunity to upsell and cross sell where possible. The Company: As one of the biggest logistics companies in the world, our client can offer you a great portfolio of industry leading services to sell, and a clear path of personal progression. For this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria: · Minimum 3 years B2B sales, ideally within the logistics, courier, or freight forwarding sector, however anyone who has sold a service proposition will be considered. · A proven track record of success against targets & KPI's. · Demonstrable drive, passion and hunger to seek out and win new business · The ability to build strong relationships and negotiate at board level. · Within 60 minutes max of the area postcodes.
