International Business Development Manager – Digital & Sponsorship Sales London (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) £50,000-£55,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission
Ark is exclusively partnering with an established international media and events business serving the global maritime, ports and logistics sector. Following a period of transformation and growth, the business is investing heavily in its commercial team and looking for an experienced International Business Development Manager to drive revenue across digital media, editorial partnerships, content solutions and international events.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys opening doors, building relationships with senior decision-makers and developing bespoke partnership solutions rather than simply selling sponsorship packages.
The Opportunity With a highly respected global brand and audience of senior leaders across shipping, ports, terminals and logistics, the business is increasingly focused on expanding its digital offering through content partnerships, technical publications, webinars, lead generation campaigns and new product development. Operating within a lean and agile commercial team, you'll have genuine influence over strategy, commercial direction and future revenue opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
