About the Role

We’re looking for an ambitious, consultative salesperson to help grow Instep AI.

You’ll own the sales process from prospecting through to closing, helping property professionals discover how AI can automate manual tasks and transform the way they work.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants the same routine every day. We’re a fast-moving startup, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys building, improving and bringing new ideas to the table.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generating your own pipeline through outbound prospecting.
  • Booking and attending your own sales meetings.
  • Running consultative discovery calls and product demonstrations.
  • Building relationships with property professionals.
  • Managing opportunities through our CRM.
  • Following up prospects and progressing deals.
  • Representing Instep AI at networking events and client meetings.
  • Supporting LinkedIn outreach and social selling (training provided).
  • Working closely with the founders to improve our sales processes.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Outbound prospecting (typically one day per week)
  • Client meetings and demonstrations (three to four days per week)
  • CRM management, follow-up and planning
  • Occasional networking events and client visits

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Experience in a B2B sales environment.
  • Confidence making outbound calls.
  • A consultative approach to selling.
  • Excellent questioning and listening skills.
  • Strong organisation and CRM discipline.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset.
  • Energy, curiosity and resilience.
  • The ability to adapt quickly as priorities evolve.

Desirable

  • Property industry experience.
  • Experience selling technology or SaaS.
  • Experience using LinkedIn as part of your sales approach.
