Your role
As a field-based Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business across multiple sectors. Your goal will be to develop and close new business whilst providing a first-class service. You will have experience selling a solution or service and demonstrate success and target achievement in previous roles. We are looking for a self-driven and motivated sales professional who wants to work for a forward thinking, fast paced business. Ideally you will be based in the Southeast covering London and the home counties.

You will:
- Generate new business opportunities with prospective clients by targeting all possible opportunities within your area.
- Take ownership of the full sales process from generating leads, selling the service, negotiation and closing.
- Build a strong network of relevant opportunities to deliver against sales targets.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of our service and industry by working closely with our trainers and colleagues.
- Liaise with referring customers to ensure a smooth and professional handover happens between DAMS and the client.
- Attend events to network and create leads, and generate new business within your area.
Requirements

- 2 years + field sales experience within a similar role
- Knowledge of the claims management industry is desirable
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets in business development / new business environment
- Excellent selling skills built on trust and reliability
- Proven ability to identify and develop new business
- Proven understanding of sales tools and how to use them to build and plan for success
- A full UK Driving license
- Passion for sales
