Job Purpose
To drive sustainable business growth by developing and executing strategic business development initiatives, securing high-value projects, building long-term client partnerships, expanding market presence, and leading the sales and business development function for the structural engineering company.
Key Roles And Responsibilities As Business Development Manager
Strategic Business Development
- Develop and implement annual business development and growth strategies.
- Identify new markets, sectors, and revenue streams for structural engineering services.
- Create and execute business plans aligned with company objectives.
- Establish strategic partnerships with developers, contractors, architects, consultants, and government agencies.
- Identify opportunities for geographical and sector expansion.
- Lead the business development team to achieve company revenue and profitability targets.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when required.
- Oversee key account acquisition and retention programs.
- Drive conversion of large-scale project opportunities.
- Lead the identification and qualification of tender opportunities.
- Negotiate commercial terms and service agreements.

We're Looking For a Business Development Manager With
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
- Extensive experience in business development, sales, or commercial management within engineering, construction, or consulting sectors.
- Proven experience in managing high-value client relationships and securing large projects.
