About the Company

Aiko Solar is a global leader in high-efficiency solar cell and module technology, committed to delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions. As we expand our footprint across Europe, we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Representative to lead our growth in the UK solar market.

About the Role

The Business Development Representative will play a key role in developing Aiko Solar’s presence across the United Kingdom, focusing on identifying strong distribution partners, establishing strategic sales channels, and enhancing Aiko’s brand recognition in the UK PV market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in solar or renewable energy business development, a solid understanding of local market dynamics, and strong communication skills in English (Dutch is no longer required).

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard local distribution and EPC partners aligned with Aiko’s regional strategy.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and strategic partners.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory frameworks, and competitive activities across the UK market to inform strategic decisions.
  • Drive brand visibility through local marketing initiatives, trade fairs, and industry collaborations.
  • Coordinate with Aiko’s internal teams (technical support, marketing, logistics) to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide sales forecasts, market feedback, and business reports to regional management.
  • Represent Aiko professionally in all customer and stakeholder interactions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
