The Role: Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Coverage: North East London, Enfield, North & East London (N, NW, E postcodes and surrounding areas).
- Sales Leadership: Develop and partner with high-value Kitchen Studios and Electrical Retail Partners, supporting collaborative business plans to drive sales growth targets and achieve a best-in-class partnership.
- Account Management: Train and guide partners while closely collaborating with Miele Experience Centres, creating expert consumer experiences through hands-on product demonstrations.
- Results-Driven: Deliver outstanding performance in a challenging sales environment, with a passion for exceeding objectives and building strong commercial relationships.
- Strategic Growth: Develop territories through data-driven planning, analysing financial data to identify opportunities and implement multi-faceted promotional calendars.
- Collaborative Success: Work closely with Head of Sales, Domestic Support Teams, Category Managers, Logistics, Service, and Finance.

What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
✔ A strong commercial background with emotional intelligence—able to build trust and negotiate effectively. ✔ Proven sales experience in account management, with a territory-focused approach to developing partnerships. ✔ Ability to exceed targets while fostering long-term business relationships. ✔ Proficiency in analytics to make data-driven decisions and understand territory dynamics. ✔ Experience in designing promotional strategies to maximise exposure within accounts. ✔ Problem-solving mindset, with a solution-focused approach to overcoming objections.
Preferred Qualifications
✔ Experience in formulating and executing trade compliance terms. ✔ Ability to balance business demands with customer needs. ✔ Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial performance and identifying strategic opportunities.
