Business Development Manager

About the Company

At Prolo, we’re on a mission to shake up the construction industry with our AI-driven procurement platform. We're transforming how construction companies source materials, offering no setup costs, instant savings, and a seamless ordering process. It’s a no-brainer for customers – and we’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join us as we scale.

We’re a tight-knit, energetic team that celebrates wins together, learns fast, and genuinely enjoys what we do. Our culture is built on trust, pace, continuous improvement, and having fun while hitting ambitious goals.

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be joining a new and growing sales team, working directly with the CEO to drive revenue and shape how we engage customers.

Responsibilities

  • Reaching out to potential customers and introducing our game-changing platform
  • Driving first orders and nurturing strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Contributing to the development of a high-performing sales culture as the team expands
  • Supporting the onboarding, training, and success of future team members as we grow
  • Entertaining customers, organising events, and creating opportunities to strengthen relationships and brand awareness
  • Playing a key role in helping us meet ambitious sales milestones ahead of our Seed raise later this year
  • Taking ownership of your pipeline with the autonomy to try new ideas, experiment with approaches, and shape how we grow the customer base

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
