Business Development Manager (Marine) Location: Scotland Contract: Permanent / Remote
A leading marine company is seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong hunter mentality to drive new business growth across the UK. This role is ideal for a proactive, self-driven sales professional with the confidence to open doors, build new relationships, and secure high-value service, overhaul, and spare parts contracts
What You'll Be Doing Hunting down new customers and turning cold leads into warm opportunities Selling marine engine services, overhauls, spare parts, and long‑term service agreements Meeting prospects across the UK — shipyards, ports, owners, operators, OEM partners Building relationships fast and handing over qualified opportunities for quoting Filling and managing a strong pipeline with disciplined CRM habits Representing the business at exhibitions, events, and customer sites

What You Bring A proven track record of winning new business in B2B sales Confidence to break into new markets and sectors Marine, offshore, or industrial background (ideal but not essential) A self‑starting, resilient, competitive personality Willingness to travel UK‑wide and make things happen Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
