Location: Shoreditch, London Working Arrangement: Office-based with Thursday WFH Reports to: Head of Growth
About the Company
Since medical cannabis was legalised in the UK in 2018, our client has been at the forefront of building the infrastructure that makes this industry possible.
- Operate across pharmaceutical import, wholesale and export (regulated by the Home Office and MHRA)
- Run a telehealth clinic (regulated by the CQC)
- Part of a wider European group, with ambitions to become Europe’s leading medical cannabis operator
Their clinical services act as the heart, while their pharmaceutical operations are the brain, powering the entire industry and expanding patient access to safe, regulated treatment. They combine clinical credibility with strong commercial execution to support:
- Clinics
- Pharmacies
- Healthcare professionals
The company thrives in a high-growth scale-up where deals and relationships matter, performance is visible, and impact drives success.
Role Overview
This is a new Business Development Partnership role focused on creating and nurturing long-term commercial partnerships with:
- Clinics
- Pharmacies
- Healthcare providers
This is not about managing warm leads—it’s about generating opportunity from scratch.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Pipeline Building
- Identify and win new clinic and pharmacy partners through proactive outreach
- Turn cold conversations into signed, revenue-generating partnerships
- Build a consistent, self-generated pipeline (not dependent on inbound leads)
Sales & Relationship Management
- Spend time face-to-face with partners (clinics, pharmacies, decision-makers)
- Represent the brand at meetings, events, and presentations
- Demonstrate how the company helps partners grow their business (not just sell to them)
- Use case studies to establish long-term growth partnerships
- Understand operational, regulatory, and quality processes deeply
Performance-Driven Growth
- Build compounding partnerships that deliver lasting value
First 90 Days Timeline
Month 1 – Onboarding & Immersion
- Deep dive into business, quality, operations, and compliance
- Meet existing partners and analyse their success drivers
- Gain an industry-wide understanding
Months 2–3 – Pipeline & Conversions
- Begin building your own pipeline
- Initiate client meetings and early conversions
- Transition into fieldwork (London first, then broader UK travel)

Requirements
You must have: ✅ Proven experience in new business development ✅ Background in FMCG, retail, wholesale, health & wellness, or a similar field ✅ Comfortability selling physical products/solutions to businesses ✅ Minimum 3 years of face-to-face presenting experience ✅ Clear record of hitting targets—numbers matter!
