Location: Remote with occasional visits to the Milton Keynes head office

About The Job

We're looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join our Microsoft Cloud team. Working within a successful team that continues to grow year on year, you'll play a key role in driving cloud growth, identifying new opportunities, and supporting our partner community.

This is a varied role that combines business development with consultative account support. You'll work closely with Microsoft, partners, and internal teams to provide guidance across Microsoft Cloud solutions, manage a range of enquiries and opportunities, and help partners maximise customer adoption and growth. Success in this role comes from building great relationships, spotting opportunities, solving problems, and delivering great customer experience.

If you have experience in cloud sales, business development or account management and enjoy building relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping customers find the right solutions, we'd love to hear from you. This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing commercial objectives with account management, partner support, and day-to-day collaboration across multiple teams.

Core responsibilities:

  • Managing and growing relationships with Microsoft partners, identifying opportunities to support their business objectives and drive cloud growth.
  • Handling a variety of partner enquiries, quotations, and requests, providing a responsive and solutions-focused service.
  • Engaging with partners by phone, Teams, and email to understand their needs, offer guidance, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Working closely with Microsoft and internal teams to deliver the right cloud solutions, programmes, and services for partners and their customers.
  • Managing opportunities throughout the sales cycle, maintaining accurate pipeline information and supporting business performance targets.
  • Balancing commercial activity with day-to-day account management, problem-solving, and operational responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
