Business Development Manager – Microsoft Dynamics 365

Business Development Manager – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Location: UK Remote / Hybrid Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 + OTE

The Opportunity We’re working with a growing Microsoft-focused technology partner that is looking to appoint a commercially strong Business Development Manager to help drive growth across its Microsoft Business Applications practice.

This is a key hire for the business.

The company is already generating a strong flow of opportunities across Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Business Central. The challenge is not a lack of demand, it is having the right senior commercial person in place to qualify, nurture, shape and close those opportunities properly.

You will be joining a business with an active pipeline, existing Microsoft-led opportunities, partner referrals, website enquiries, nurture campaigns and marketing-generated demand. The role is about bringing commercial ownership, structure and momentum to those opportunities, while also helping the business build a stronger Microsoft co-sell and SMC motion.

The Role As Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of new business opportunities across the company’s Dynamics and Business Applications portfolio.

You will work closely with senior leadership, marketing, Microsoft stakeholders and internal pre-sales consultants to convert opportunities into successful customer projects.

The role will focus primarily on selling: Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Engagement Microsoft Power Platform Dynamics 365 Business Central Associated Microsoft Business Applications project work

The business has experienced pre-sales architects and technical consultants in place, so you will not be expected to solution every detail yourself. However, you must be credible enough to understand customer challenges, lead commercial conversations, manage stakeholders and guide opportunities through the full sales process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
