Business Development Manager – Military (EMEA Regions)
Our partner company specializes in expanding life-saving medical technologies within the government and military healthcare ecosystem across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). We seek an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in critical resuscitation and emergency care solutions for defense, public safety, and military organizations.
About the Role
This high-impact, commercial position blends field sales execution with strategic market development and involves:
- Expanding critical resuscitation and emergency-care solutions within regulated military/government procurement frameworks.
- Engaging with key stakeholders in complex healthcare and defense sectors.
- Collaborating with distribution partners and internal teams to position solutions in mission-critical settings.
- Navigating international government procurement processes, including tenders, RFIs, and defense frameworks.
Ideal for a commercially driven professional with experience in high-stakes, regulated environments, where impact directly impacts lives saved.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Develop and execute a structured business strategy to drive consistent growth in EMEA military/government markets.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and foster strong relationships with NATO-aligned partners, defense procurement teams, and public sector suppliers.
- Commercial Execution: Achieve sales targets through disciplined forecasting, pipeline management, and cost control.
- Procurement Lead: Lead RFIs, tenders, quotations, and complex procurement processes within defense/military frameworks.
- CRM & Data Management: Maintain and optimize Salesforce-based CRM tracking for seamless account/sales visibility.
- Annual Planning: Develop and align segment-specific business plans, setting performance targets and strategic objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to ethical, industry, and government procurement standards in all operations.

Key Requirements
- 2–3+ years in field sales for medical devices, healthcare technology, or capital equipment.
- Military, EMS, or clinical background (e.g., paramedic, nurse, combat medic) is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with distribution and channel partners in regulated/military procurement environments.
- Deep familiarity with government/military procurement systems (European/NATO frameworks ideal).
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets in high-pressure, autonomous environments.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, or similar).
- Strong negotiation/communication skills, with the ability to engage senior procurement decision-makers.
- Fluent in English; Italian/French highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Southern/Mediterranean Europe (70%+ of time).
