Mobile Business Development Manager
About The Role
The role of the Mobile Business Development Manager will be to secure new clients for Intercity Technology by sourcing new mobile sales opportunities from within a target market, sector, or region and winning that business across the full portfolio of Intercity Technology mobile propositions.
You will be joining a team with strong internal support across marketing, pre-sales, and product, giving you the platform to focus on what you do best—building relationships and winning business.
This is a field-based role covering an area ranging from the North West to London. We want you to be out in the field, meeting clients and prospects face to face.
A valid driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Deliver Mobile connection targets and gross profit targets across monthly and quarterly cycles
- Proactively promote all mobile products and services offered by Intercity Technology
- Achieve pre-set KPIs geared towards generating opportunities
Relationship & Opportunity Management
- Develop self-generated opportunities, warm leads, referrals, and existing client engagements
- Devise a targeting strategy for the agreed market, sector, or region using insights from multiple customer data sources
Collaboration & Proposal Creation
- Work with internal teams (marketing, telemarketing, and product specialists) to compile compelling propositions addressing prospect needs
- Update the CRM system with all activity and generate ad hoc reports as required
- Provide regular, accurate sales forecasts
- Create strong, compelling proposals that highlight Intercity’s value-add

Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record of winning mobile business opportunities across several years, with experience achieving growth through vertical markets
- Self-managed, results-driven, and results-focused, with a passion for creating and developing opportunities
- Open-minded, eager to learn and contribute, and committed to continuous improvement
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to drive positive business outcomes
- Ability to build trust with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
Work Style & Attributes
- Methodical in reporting, maintaining CRM, and recording data
- Conscientious and structured approach to workflow management
- Thrives under pressure and pursue continuous improvement
Travel & logistical requirements
- Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car for fieldwork
