As we scale our B2B offering, we’re seeking a commercially-driven New Business Development Manager to help shape and grow this exciting area of our business.
In this full-sales-cycle B2B role, your focus will be on:
- Winning new commercial partnerships
- Insulating and growing existing accounts to deliver profitable revenue
- Partnering with organisations across charities, local housing authorities, estate agencies, and large corporate businesses—from first conversation through to onboarding, renewal, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
You’ll be your own business activator, owning and driving:
- Pipeline growth: Building a pipeline of new and retained business opportunities
- New client acquisition: Identifying, engaging, and winning lucrative B2B partnerships
- Profitable revenue generation: Hitting and exceeding forecast targets
- Client partnership: Serving as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring they feel supported, valued, and retained
- Cross-team collaboration: Aligning with Commercial, Trade, and Supply teams to optimise account performance
- Seamless onboarding: Bridging internal/external stakeholders for smooth transitions
- Account reporting: Producing clear, insightful regular updates on performance
- Brand engagement: Representing AO at exhibitions, networking events and industry forums with excellence
- Relationship-building: Cultivating long-term, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders

What We’re Looking For
For this fast-paced, revenue-driven role, we want someone with:
- B2B sales/business development experience—based or with measurable results
- A track record of generating new business and closing deals
- Strong commercial acumen paired with a results-first mindset
- The confidence and resilience to thrive in a collaborative, high-energy environment
- Rapport management skills: Patience and trust-building with senior stakeholders and long-term clients
- A full driving licence (essential)
