Business Development Manager – Issuer Services (London, Hybrid)

About the Role
Developing and nurturing relationships with clients is at the heart of this role within the Issuer Services Business Development team. This position is instrumental in driving sustainable business growth by:
- Building strong, long-term partnerships with both existing and prospective clients
- Identifying and pursuing new revenue opportunities
- Creating tailored proposals that address client needs
- Supporting commercial success through structured collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping future growth strategies. Your focus extends beyond immediate deals to enhancing market positioning, deepening client engagement, and embedding lasting value—all while contributing to the broader business agenda.
You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver high-impact business proposals, manage opportunities efficiently, and ensure seamless client onboarding. Relationship-building isn’t just about sales—it’s about fostering trust, collaboration, and a competitive edge in an evolving financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Pipeline Development
- Develop and manage the new client pipeline, contributing to sustainable business growth via Future and Existing Client Programmes.
- Progress business opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to successful implementation.

Proposal & Relationship Management
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and refine high-impact business proposals using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Build strong, lasting client relationships during onboarding, ensuring a positive experience and strong feedback.
Strategic Execution & Impact
- Conduct market research to identify emerging business opportunities and align resources effectively.
- Work with marketing and internal teams to strengthen client engagement and market visibility through events and communications.
- Track and report on sales metrics and relationship insights at regional and global levels.
Support & Administration
- Assist with due diligence, compliance reporting, and operational tasks as needed to ensure smooth business operations.
