- You are comfortable discussing business outcomes, financial savings, and return on investment with decision-makers.
About the Role
- You are joining the team to win commercial LED lighting projects by converting self-generated prospects and some company-generated qualified opportunities into signed contracts.
- Your average customer may range from commercial and industrial facilities to multi-site organisations seeking energy efficiency improvements.
Success in your first year looks like:
- Building a consistent pipeline of LED opportunities
- Delivering £1m+ annual sales performance
- Creating repeat business, referrals, and self-generated opportunities

To achieve this, you will:
- Attend audits and discovery meetings
- Build and present LED proposals
- Manage surveys, stakeholder engagement, and negotiations
- Generate new opportunities through prospecting and referrals
- Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasting
- Work closely with operations and technical teams
Activity Expectations
LED sales require pace, consistency, and strong opportunity management. You will be expected to manage multiple live opportunities while maintaining disciplined prospecting and follow-up activity.
- Maintain multiple active opportunities simultaneously
- Generate your own meetings and referrals
- Keep CRM updated accurately
- Participate in regular pipeline reviews
Reward
- £45,000 basic salary plus car allowance or company car
- Uncapped commission and strong earning potential for high performers
Essential Criteria
- Evidence of winning B2B sales opportunities
- Strong commercial and consultative selling skills
- Experience managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Evidence of self-generated business development activity
- Strong organisation and follow-up discipline
