Business Development Manager | Investigations | London | Hybrid
We're currently retained on behalf of a market-leading investigations consultancy to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager.
This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected firm in a newly created, high-profile role where you'll work directly with Partners to shape and deliver the firm's growth strategy.
The Opportunity
- Lead the firm's Business Development strategy from planning through to execution.
- Partner with senior leaders to identify, target and win new business opportunities.
- Build relationships with key clients and strategic referral sources.
- Drive profile-raising initiatives, thought leadership and conference activity.
- Oversee high-quality pitches, proposals and legal directory submissions.
- Manage the Business Development budget and measure ROI across initiatives.
- Lead and develop a Business Development Assistant while working closely with Marketing, Operations and Finance.

We're Looking For
- 6-8+ years' Business Development experience within investigations, disputes, litigation support, legal or professional services.
- A proven track record of developing and executing successful BD strategies.
- Experience working closely with Partners or senior fee earners.
- Strong commercial awareness with exceptional relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, hands-on individual who enjoys making things happen.
- Previous people management experience is advantageous.
