Business Development Manager at Civica

We’re Civica, and we create software that helps deliver critical services for citizens all around the world. From local government, to education, health, and care, over 5,000 public bodies across the globe use our software to provide essential services to over 100 million citizens.

Our aspiration is to be a GovTech champion everywhere we work, supporting the needs of citizens and those who serve them every day. Building on 21 years of continuous growth and success, we're at a pivotal point in our journey to realise that aspiration.

Why You Will Love This Opportunity

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll take full ownership of driving new business growth, expanding our footprint across your territory and SaaS product family; while also nurturing and growing existing customer relationships.

This role is about more than sales—it’s about building long-lasting, trusted relationships that empower organisations to transform the way they serve their citizens within the People & Workplace Management capability area.

You’ll proactively plan and prospect to uncover fresh opportunities within your customer accounts, engage key decision-makers, and act as a strategic partner to your customers. By collaborating closely with customers and internal teams, you’ll ensure our SaaS solutions deliver real impact, helping communities thrive and improving services for the people who rely on them every day.

Key Responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
