Role Overview
R13 are proud to be representing an award-winning and market-leading brand in their search for an experienced BDM to join their successful commercial sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious B2B sales professional to play a key role in driving new business, developing strategic partnerships and managing relationships with a portfolio of nationally recognised brands.
You'll be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, building long-term client relationships and delivering tailored solutions that support both client objectives and business growth. This role offers genuine autonomy, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to become part of a collaborative and high-performing team. This role comes with a huge amount of autonomy to get creative in recognising suitable prospects and managing the sales process through engagement, contract negotiations and ongoing relationship management / growth.
Based in Norwich with hybrid working available, the role also involves UK travel to attend client meetings and industry events.
Mon-Friday working hours with a basic salary of £37,000 plus an uncapped commission structure. The Day to Day
- Identifying / securing B2B collaboration opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Building and nurturing relationships with prospective commercial clients.
- Developing tailored proposals and commercial solutions to meet business objectives.
- Negotiating agreements and successfully converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.
- Management of client relationships, identifying referral / growth opportunities.
- Managing your own sales pipeline, ensuring activity supports ambitious revenue and profitability targets.
- Maintaining accurate records and forecasting using Salesforce CRM.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Representing the business at client meetings, networking events and industry exhibitions across the UK.
- Monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities to expand commercial partnerships.

You Will Have / Be
- Proven track record in a B2B sales and development role.
- A consultative approach to sales with exceptional relationship-building skills.
- A proven track record of understanding prospect customer demographics, identifying suitable clients and winning their business.
- Achieving targets
- Confident presenting proposals and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Highly organised with excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify new opportunities.
- Experience using CRM systems, Salesforce would be a bonus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
- An interest in premium consumer brands would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
