What will you do?
- Execute new logo acquisition and account expansion, taking opportunities from development through to closing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers across central and local government, executive agencies, arms-length bodies and other public sector organisations.
- Navigate and influence complex government procurement processes, supporting RFP creation and demand generation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to position Synectics’ offerings in line with public sector priorities.
- Share market intelligence and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the product and service portfolio.
- Act as a visible advocate for Synectics at conferences, events, in publications and across social channels.
- Track and understand emerging public sector trends, shaping and responding to evolving client needs.
- Deliver against agreed revenue and performance targets, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer.

What will you need?
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align Synectics’ portfolio to public sector needs and deliver rapid market traction.
- Experience in fraud prevention or fraud adjacent experience would be invaluable
- An understanding of Government and Public Sector Sales processes and requirements would be hugely advantageous
- Deep understanding of multi-stakeholder environments and the diverse priorities of government managers, procurement specialists, technologists and elected officials.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to listen attentively, build trust and develop strong, lasting relationships.
- Confidence, credibility and the ability to present clearly and persuasively across varied audiences.
- Proven track record of selling comparable services, closing complex deals and securing high-value contracts across central and local government.
- High energy and passion for driving growth, with the ability to inspire and delegate effectively.
- An established network of contacts across government, or the capability to quickly build such a network.
