Business Development Managers
We are looking for several Business Development Managers for our Capita Public Services team, with an experience in and passion for selling Contact Centre, Tech Sales, BPO, and Case Management propositions. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a visible, high-impact role where your work genuinely helps public services operate better, faster, and more effectively. You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking Growth team committed to innovation, client value, and purposeful change.
Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Description:
This role is home-based, with occasional travel for team collaboration and client engagement. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract. What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving year-on-year revenue and margin growth across the Public Sector
- Identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities that will enable our growth ambitions as a business
- Developing compelling win strategies that align to customer needs and our CPS propositions
- Building relationships with key customer stakeholders across public sector organisations
- Embedding our technology-enabled solutions at the heart of our new business opportunities by working collaboratively with market development, Win Centre, and technology teams across Capita
- Using data, insight, and sales tools to manage your pipeline, forecast accurately, and inform strategic planning
- Collaborating across CPS teams to ensure seamless transition of new business into delivery and account management
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience working in the Public Services Sector with an experience in and passion for selling Contact Centre, Tech Sales, BPO, and Case Management propositions.
- Good experience managing a business development or sales pipeline, with a track record of achieving targets.
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and building trusted client relationships.
- Commercially astute, able to qualify opportunities and shape tailored solutions.
- Skilled at using insight, research, and market intelligence to drive sales decisions.
- Strong understanding of business development best practice - account planning, pipeline discipline, reporting, and risk management.
