Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager

Type: Full Time Region: UK - South East Town/City: Woking, Surrey Reference: 62030_1782986023

Help shape one of the UK's fastest-growing environmental markets.

Are you commercially minded with experience working alongside developers, planners, ecologists, or landowners?

Perhaps you’ve built relationships within ecology, planning, land agency, or environmental consultancy, and are looking for an opportunity where your commercial skills can make a genuine environmental impact?

We're partnering with an ambitious organisation that's transforming how developers meet Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and Nutrient Neutrality requirements across the UK. As demand grows, they’re seeking a Business Development Manager to help grow strategic relationships with the following stakeholders:

  • Developers
  • Planning consultants
  • Land agents
  • Public sector organisations

This is a rare opportunity to join a business leading one of the UK's newest environmental markets.

The Opportunity

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify new commercial opportunities
  • Develop long-term client relationships
  • Guide organisations through an increasingly complex planning and environmental landscape

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
