This is a key role in the team, responsible for supporting practice and industry collaboration, growth, and client engagement across the priority areas of the Real Estate sector.
The individual will be a core part of the team and will work closely with the Real Estate Senior Manager and partner stakeholders to support the strategy.
The position also requires close collaboration across the Business Development function to bring a comprehensive "whole of Firm" approach to our clients.
The role will support several priority growth areas across a variety of sub-industries within the real estate sector as playing a leading role in supporting the firm's global capital relationships and investor engagement initiatives across key economic corridors.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include
- Support the successful delivery of the practice & Industry strategy collaborating with counterparts in EMEA and APAC to ensure global connectivity and knowledge sharing.
- Utilise market and client insights to keep up to date with current and emerging issues impacting the industry. Identify areas of client need and opportunities for lead generation, with the goal of deepening our client relationships and market penetration.
- Strategic account management responsibility for several real estate industry accounts.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the industry clients and their businesses and assist with the sharing of that information within Ashurst Perkins Coie.
- Strategic decision making and planning (go / no-go) as well as contributing and controlling the drafting and coordination of pitches and tenders

This is a full-time permanent role, based in our London office with hybrid working.

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a law firm / industry business development environment.
- Previous experience in the real estate sector is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience of managing projects and / or initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively interact with peers and influence internal clients including senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a strong focus on execution.
