Rubix UK is the UK’s market leader in industrial MRO distribution, supporting manufacturing and engineering businesses with a comprehensive range of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products, technical expertise and supply chain solutions.

As part of the wider Rubix Group, we help customers improve reliability, reduce downtime and optimise their maintenance strategies.

The Vacancy

We are looking for a Business Development Manager, internally known as Regional Account Manager to drive profitable growth across a defined territory by developing strong relationships with industrial customers and delivering value through a consultative sales approach.

You will manage and grow a portfolio of accounts while identifying new opportunities to expand Rubix’s presence across a variety of industries.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing and developing a portfolio of key customers Identifying new business opportunities across your territory Using a consultative sales approach to understand customer maintenance and operational challenges Promoting Rubix’s full MRO offering including technical products and value-added services Developing strategic account plans to grow share of wallet Building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders across site. Working closely with internal specialists to deliver tailored customer solutions Managing pipeline activity and sales forecasts through CRM

What We’re Looking For

Proven B2B field sales experience, ideally within industrial, engineering, or MRO environments Experience managing customer relationships and delivering sales growth Strong consultative selling and problem-solving skills Commercially driven with excellent negotiation and communication abilities Ability to engage with stakeholders across engineering, maintenance, QSHE and procurement functions Self-motivated with strong territory planning and account management skills
