Overview

We are recruiting a number of high-performing Business Development Managers at varying stages of careers to drive new business growth across our Regulated and Professional Markets. Recruiting will remain open until the positions are filled.

These roles focus on acquiring new enterprise clients within Financial Services and Insurance sectors, primarily across the City of London.

Positions are predominantly home-based, with candidates ideally being:

  • Within approximately one hour’s commute of London
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Available to attend our UK HQ in Uxbridge on an ad-hoc basis, typically monthly

The Opportunity

This is a strategic new business sales role focused on delivering growth across Xerox’s Print Services and Digital Services portfolio into Tier 1 enterprise organisations.

Our offering spans traditional and next-generation capabilities, including:

  • Managed Print Services (MPS), Print Rooms, Transactional Print, Mailroom Services
  • Omni-channel Customer Communications and CX platforms
  • Claims Automation, Workflow Orchestration, Intelligent Document Processing
  • Data Extraction, Fraud Detection, and AI-enabled digital transformation solutions

You will take full ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle, engaging multiple stakeholders across client organisations and leading complex, consultative engagements from initial prospecting through to close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition across Financial Services and Insurance markets (If you have relevant experience in other named verticals, we would be happy to receive your CV for consideration for other future positions).
  • Build, develop, and convert a sustainable pipeline through targeted prospecting, networking, and account penetration.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles, typically delivering £1m+ annual contract value.
  • Shape and deliver compelling client propositions, from discovery through to commercial negotiation and contract closure.
  • Establish and maintain senior relationships with executive decision-makers (e.g. CIO, Transformation Leaders, Operations Heads).
  • Collaborate with Solution Specialists, Architects, Bid Teams, and Delivery functions to develop winning solutions and RFP submissions.
  • Maintain high standards of CRM discipline (SalesForce and D365), ensuring pipeline accuracy and forecast visibility.
  • Remain closely aligned to market trends, regulatory developments, and the broader ecosystem to identify and originate new opportunities.

Required

Experience & Capabilities

  • 5+ years market experience
  • Proven track record of new business (“new logo”) sales in complex enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated success selling into regulated or professional services sectors: Financial Services and Insurance clients
  • Strong consultative and solution-selling capability, ideally spanning both traditional services and digital transformation offerings
  • Established network and credibility within at least one of the named vertical markets
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at executive level across large, matrixed organisations
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to articulate value, ROI, and business outcomes
  • High levels of resilience, self-motivation, and a results-driven mindset

Preferred

  • Experience within FinTech or InsurTech ecosystems
