Business Development Manager - Lina Stores, Manchester

Since 1944, Lina Stores has been bringing Italian warmth, quality, and hospitality to our guests. As we continue to grow in Manchester, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to help us increase our presence, attract new guests, strengthen local relationships, and drive the commercial success of our restaurant.

This role is ideal for someone who is commercially driven, passionate about hospitality, and excited by the opportunity to grow a restaurant brand in a new market. You will play a key role in increasing awareness of Lina Stores in Manchester, driving bookings, developing partnerships, and creating opportunities that bring more guests through our doors.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of growing Lina Stores Manchester’s local presence and revenue. Working closely with the General Manager and support teams, you will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships, increase group and private dining bookings, and develop initiatives that improve guest loyalty and repeat visits.

You will be a key ambassador for Lina Stores, connecting our restaurant with the Manchester community while ensuring every opportunity to grow the business is explored.

Key Responsibilities

Driving Growth - Heritage. Authenticity. Quality.

  • Develop and deliver a local business development strategy to increase sales, bookings, and brand awareness in Manchester.
  • Identify and build relationships with local businesses, hotels, offices, event spaces, and community partners.
  • Generate new revenue opportunities through private dining, group bookings, events, collaborations, and partnerships.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to bring new guests into the restaurant and increase repeat visits.
  • Represent Lina Stores at local events and networking opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
