Business Development Manager Opportunity

Drive new business growth within our client's specialist spare parts logistics division.

This is a pure hunter role, suited to someone with a proven track record of winning new accounts and developing strategic relationships with organisations that rely on fast, reliable spare parts delivery to keep critical operations running.

You'll be selling bespoke logistics solutions that support field service operations, ensuring engineers receive the right part at the right place and at the right time. Whether it's same-day, overnight, mission-critical or just-in-time delivery, you'll understand the commercial impact that downtime has on customers and be able to position logistics as a business-critical service rather than a commodity.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Winning new business across key industry sectors
  • Identifying organisations with complex field service or spare parts requirements
  • Building relationships with Operations Directors, Supply Chain Managers, Service Directors, Procurement and Engineering leaders
  • Developing tailored logistics solutions focused on improving up-time, reducing downtime and supporting field engineers
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and deal-closure

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
