Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion
- Expand the Transportation & General Industrial business by driving growth.
- Manage new accounts post-acquisition before transitioning to Key Account direction.
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Collaborate with Segment Manager and Sales Director to refine plans for key third-party accounts.
- Execute high-impact projects aligned with revenue targets.
Customer & Market Insights
- Identify decision-makers and address their challenges.
- Collaborate with Marketing and R&D to seize opportunities.
- Develop and align tailored pitches with prospective Owners, Distributors, Engineers, and Purchasing teams.
Sales & Negotiation
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and conditions (ensuring compliance with company policies).
- Align product specifications with customer needs for portfolio differentiation.
Competitive Edge
- Monitor market trends and recommend differentiating initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D, Market Strategy) to bring products from concept to launch.
Operational Excellence
- Generate time-sensitive, customer-acceptance quotations.
- Engage in ideation projects exploring industry and customer-focused innovations.
- Use Salesforce.com for account management, pricing analysis, and funnel tracking.

Safety & Compliance
- Promote all safety, quality, and environmental policies.
Primary Focus Areas
- Automotive, Transportation, and General Industrial Markets
- B2B growth with OEMs and Tier I Suppliers
- Engineered adhesives, potting, and encapsulation products.
- Technical solutions (structural adhesives a plus).
Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Track Record
- 8+ years in Sales with proven revenue growth beyond targets.
- 5+ years in Automotive, Transportation, or Industrial Markets.
- Self-proven business development expertise with measurable success.
B2B & Technical Knowledge
- Experience selling engineered and technical adhesives and composites to large clients.
- Technical understanding of adhesives and manufacturing processes an asset.
Soft Skills & Mindset
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Passion for results combined with multitasking and efficiency.
- Exceptional relationship building, influence, and negotiation abilities.
Travel & Requirements
- Primary location: Must live near a major airport (60%+ travel).
- Ownership, persistence, and a determined pursuit of growth are non-negotiable.
