Enterprise Business Development Manager – Cross-Border Payments & Fintech

Location: UK Contract Type: Permanent Partner: Global FinTech Organisation

Northreach, a leading recruitment agency specialising in financial services, lending, and digital sectors, is partnering with a rapidly growing global FinTech company to fill the role of Enterprise Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a business at the forefront of cross-border payment solutions, helping organisations move money efficiently across global markets.


About the Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of a 360° enterprise sales role, from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and deal closure. This is a new logo-winning, high-impact position where you will:

  • Build and scale revenue through B2B business development.
  • Engage mid-market and enterprise-level clients, including CEOs, COOs, and CFOs.
  • Drive strategic account expansion while forging new market relationships.

Your solutions will encompass: ✔ High-value international payments ✔ Virtual account solutions ✔ Smart invoicing technology ✔ Integrated payment infrastructure for global businesses

With geographic expansion across the UK, Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, this role offers the chance to grow with a dynamic and aspirational FinTech business that recognises and rewards high performers.


Key Responsibilities

As the Enterprise Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation:

    • Conduct strategic outbound sales initiatives to identify and outreach to high-value prospects.
    • Build a qualified pipeline of enterprise opportunities through networking and relationship-building.
  • Sales Cycle Ownership:

    • Manage entire deal cycles, from initial engagement to negotiation and contract closure.
    • Deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers at enterprise levels.
    • Apply industry expertise to customise value propositions for diverse markets.
  • Partnership & Collaboration:

    • Work closely with internal teams to align on customer solutions and commercial expansion.
  • Performance & Metrics:

    • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM updates, and pipeline management.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Account Growth:

    • Expand existing client accounts while actively cultivating new business.

About You

We are seeking a commercially driven, ambitious individual specialised in enterprise sales, particularly within Fintech and financial technology sectors. If this sounds like you, consider the following criteria:

Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years’ experience in elling the full B2B enterprise sales cycle (cold outbound, deal negotiation, CRM management).
  • Proven ability to consistently exceed revenue targets with a record of closing high-value contracts.
  • Prior experience in one or more of these domains:
    • Fintech, Payments, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), Payment-as-a-Service (PaaS), Open Banking.
  • International sales experience, with UK, EU, North America, MENA, APAC, or African markets ideally brought to the table.
  • Strong talent for lead generation, business development, and strategic prospecting.
  • Exceptional negotiation and deal-closing abilities, particularly with high-ticket enterprise clients.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated autonomy and hunter mentality, with a proven track record of steering new business.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and comfortable with pipeline reporting.
