Business Development Manager – Transport & Logistics (Remote)

📍 Location: Remote (UK) with occasional travel for client meetings and networking events. 💰 Salary: £30,000–£40,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus uncapped commission, company laptop, and mobile phone.

Seehra Transport Ltd is a growing transport and logistics company delivering reliable transport solutions across the UK. With an established customer base, including major national contracts, we are focused on expansion and seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive our continued growth.

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious, commercially minded Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and secure new transport and logistics contracts.

You will develop new business through networking, prospecting, and relationship-building. Once a contract is secured, our experienced Operations team will manage day-to-day activities, allowing you to focus solely on driving growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new transport and logistics contracts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, and business development initiatives.
  • Arrange and attend meetings with stakeholders to discuss opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial presentations.
  • Negotiate and close new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team for seamless handover of new contracts.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide regular updates.
  • Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Represent Seehra Transport Ltd professionally in all external engagements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Transport, logistics, distribution, or fleet sector experience is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, self-driven attitude with a passion for winning new business.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage workloads.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.
