What do we do?

The Growth Team is the main responsible for defining and developing the growth strategy of the company. Identify and develop international geographical expansion opportunities and new growth channels. Explore "grey label" opportunities, resellers partnerships, joint ventures, and other growth strategies by market.

What will you do?

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive field sales and expand Exoticca's presence across the Scottish market.

This is a field-based sales role focused on developing strategic relationships with Travel Advisors, consortia, and key trade partners across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for opening new accounts, strengthening existing partnerships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new Travel Advisor accounts across Scotland
  • Manage and grow existing accounts with a focus on retention and year-on-year revenue increase
  • Represent Exoticca at Scottish trade shows, industry events, networking functions, and FAM trips
  • Deliver in-person and virtual product presentations and training sessions
  • Drive group bookings and strategic partnership opportunities
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and account management using Salesforce CRM
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and HQ teams to ensure alignment and service excellence
  • Prepare weekly sales activity reports and monthly expense reports
  • Meet defined KPIs and performance standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in travel industry sales within the Scottish market
  • Strong existing network of Scotland-based Travel Advisors and industry contacts
  • Experience in field sales and territory management
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Scotland and occasionally internationally (events, HQ visits)
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial mindset with a data-driven approach (Salesforce experience preferred)
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, comfortable in a fast-growing and evolving environment
  • Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous improvement
